The Halston Carlisle

The hotel was stylish, I appreciated the attentive staff and marvellous breakfasts. The room was unique, high standard with hypoallergenic pillows. The location was handy, just a short walk away from Sands Centre. Amazing view, inviting bar - everything was very clean. Very good service, good value, just what was needed.

This accommodation had a central setting right in the centre of the town. The tapas restaurant from the menu and the garden bar.

Location and staff are fab, I appreciated perfect bed.

By and large, it was pretty standard place with efficient staff from the receptionist.

It was a little place, had outstanding staff from the receptionist. They provided a great selection of well presented choices for breakfast that was included.

Stunningly beautiful venue with a friendly reception. Very central location, within walking distance of Cumbria County Council.

The staff is welcoming, the breakfast delicious, the ocation is quiet close to shops, restaurants, the centre. The units are airy, reasonably large.

Location is fab, very stylish staff were more than helpful. Rich breakfast, very efficient service...

Great way to end our weekend. The location was perfect, you can visit Gallery Number Three by walking. The restaurant was good, and the staff genuinely helpful.

It was an unforgettable stay and I will be back. The place was spotless and staff were qualified, I enjoyed very convenience location. Early check-in & personalised service. Cool drinks, fine wifi were a nice surprise:)))

We enjoyed it during our really great stay. Fabulous, fairly clean place and lovely area. Takeaway breakfast with a wide range of options. Separate room, exceptionally comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The hotel's setting was very central. An easy walk to a cathedral and a castle.

Upgraded accommodation, the breakfast was varied, exquisite location close to centre.

The staff was motivated and the room design was interesting, beds were quiet. Cheese, scrambled eggs, muffins, fresh fruit and pancakes were reasonably priced and overall there was a good choice of food. Best possible location to St James. Having different free hot drinks in the main bar was a very nice touch.

The place is perfect and perfectly clean, everything is okay, it should have higher than 3 star rating. Overall modern facilities, there's paid parking.

good value compared to other hotels. stylish building, unbeatable location, very kind staff. they made my stay fantastic. the takeaway breakfast was gorgeous with a lot variety of items to choose from.

Room was very spacious and staff LOYAL. A good choice of food for breakfast including pastries, fruit and breads. The apartment we had was very clean. An awesome hotel in Carlisle.

Penny Blue, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. The hotel was near to Carlisle train station. Bitts park within easy reach...
